If I forget to renew my books on time and/or turn them in late, what's the fine policy? After your stamped due date in the back of your book has arrived, you are given a 2-week grace period. If you return after that grace period, then .10/day fine is applied to your book once it's returned.

What if my library book is REALLY overdue? That fine will accrue until at 50 days overdue it reaches a $5 ceiling. At 5 months overdue, the book is considered LOST and $5 is owed either way. If Ms. Murschall reorders it before you return it (or if you return it damaged) you must pay the full price of the book because it was not available to others and needed to be replaced.
