Transitioning to Chromebooks for NCSD Staff
Staff Chromebooks
We are in the process of transitions teacher MacBooks to touchscreen Chromebooks with stylus. The tentative rollout of Chromebooks is:
2024 - 2025: Middle school school teachers
2025 - 2026: The first half of our elementary school teachers
2026 - 2027: The second half of our elementary school teachers
2027 - 2028: High school teachers
Please reach out to either Amy Gertenrich-Dwyer or Kristin Montagano for support.
Chromebook Casting
We have been using Google TVs to enable teachers to be "untethered" from their TV display. This provides the flexibility and mobility within their classrooms while teaching.
We are continuing exploring other casting issues as new technology becomes available
