Our first SIGHT READING INTENSIVE/one day honor choir at Moreland Presbyterian! Open to all singers and
all levels, this one day workshop with our fabulous staff will teach hands-on sight reading skills as we work
through a pile of repertoire, engage in like-voice breakout work, and celebrate our progress and learning in a
concert for each other, teachers, and families. This will be held at our Central location at Moreland
Presbyterian in Sellwood. Your singers will bring back new sight reading tips and strategies to keep them fired up for the second half of the year, creating sight reading leaders in your ensembles! Save the date!

A brand new festival for Chamber groups titled EchoChamberPDX, held at Lewis and Clark. This all-day
festival includes a masterclass in preparation for Ensemble Festival with Dr Fitzgibbon, Dr Cox, Jimmy Brown,
Katey Simmons, and myself. Start prepping your groups with one chamber piece to be workshopped, and your
singers will learn a second song from like-voice professionals on the day so they are READY for your district’s
Ensemble Festival, often around the last weekend of February! Email me if you want to be on my
notification list - we only have spots for 9 choirs this first year: aubrey@orsingers.org
