Recorded Auditions

Recorded auditions can be submitted at any time.  However, priority consideration will be given to students who submit materials by Tuesday, May 20 at 9 pm.

Directions: Record yourself singing Part 1 and Part 2 below. If you want to audition for the Pony Pipers, you can also complete Part 3. Please watch the tutorial video above to ensure you understand the steps. You can submit one recording with all steps included, or you may record Part 1 and Part 2 separately.

Priority Consideration Deadline: Tuesday, May 20 

Part 1: America the Beautiful  

Sing along with the provided practice tracks. Please perform with headphones, so we only hear your voice in the video or audio recording.

Tip: If you are not sure which voice part you are (soprano, alto, tenor, bass.) sing with several of the recordings until you find one that feels right in your voice.

Part 3: ONLY for people interested in Pony Pipers (advanced, contemporary ensemble)

Note: You must be concurrently enrolled in Pony Pipers and any one other music ensemble (vocal or instrumental) to be considered for Pony Pipers. 

Complete the same steps as above, but you will perform around 1 minute of any contemporary song that fits your voice. Select a piece that showcases your range and the ability to express yourself. Members of Pony Pipers are selected based on vocal ability and confidence to express themselves in a captivating and sincere way. The Pony Pipers have choreography throughout the year and are expected to perform in extra community events during the school year.
