Sing along with the provided practice tracks. Please perform with headphones, so we only hear your voice in the video or audio recording.
Tip: If you are not sure which voice part you are (soprano, alto, tenor, bass.) sing with several of the recordings until you find one that feels right in your voice.
Sing Vocal exercises A and B with the provided practice tracks. Please wear earphones so we only hear your voice in the recording. You will be singing with two tracks, either the ones labeled "Exercise Tenor-Bass" or the ones labeled "Excercise Soprano-Alto." If you're unsure, ask someone in choir or sing along with both sets of recordings.
Note: You must be concurrently enrolled in Pony Pipers and any one other music ensemble (vocal or instrumental) to be considered for Pony Pipers.
Complete the same steps as above, but you will perform around 1 minute of any contemporary song that fits your voice. Select a piece that showcases your range and the ability to express yourself. Members of Pony Pipers are selected based on vocal ability and confidence to express themselves in a captivating and sincere way. The Pony Pipers have choreography throughout the year and are expected to perform in extra community events during the school year.
