Rise Together

Rise Together aims to provide local children with the opportunity and resources to participate in outdoor adventures, as well as to develop friendships with different communities. These children often grow up in single parent families, dangerous neighborhoods, or in poverty. This opportunity arose during the pandemic, when there was not much funding for these children to go out and participate in various activities.

Throughout the year, we host at least 2 major outdoor trips, including a weekend trip to a local state park and a week-long trip out of state. In addition, we aim to interact with the community on a weekly basis, as well as to create opportunities for our volunteers to serve the children through tutoring, cleaning, cooking, and more. In 2022, we have been working on expanding our reach, and have started working with other organizations and initiatives, such as hurricane relief work.
