Spring- NCCAT sends announcement to school districts and charter schools about NCCAT BTOY Award program

August - Submission period opens for District and Charter School BTOY

September 13- Deadline for School Districts and Charter Schools to submit their BTOY to NCCAT

September 20- Deadline for NCCAT communication with each BTOY regarding the next steps, portfolio requirements, etc.

October 15- Deadline for each BTOY to submit their portfolio to NCCAT

October 18- Deadline for NCCAT to distribute electronic portfolios to the respective RESA selection committee or State Office of Charter Schools

November 5- Deadline for RESA selection committees and Office of Charter Schools selection committee to submit the names of their three BTOY finalists

November 10- Deadline for NCCAT to convey congratulations to BTOY finalists and communicate next steps, invitation for December 2-6 program, etc.

December 2-6- BTOYs attend NCCAT program

December 3-4- Lightning interview rounds with each of the 27 BTOYs

December 5- Announcement of NCCAT BTOY at celebration dinner
