How many books will your student read this year?
Students are asked to read at least 4 books at their reading level per month and turn in the following information to have those books count toward their Reading Challenge Total. If the student has read more than 4 books during the month, they may submit those as well. Every 4 books submitted earns the student a prize from the library prize box. The student with the most books read and submitted by the end of the school year will receive a $25 Gift Card, a medal, and a certificate.
Students must be in Grades 1-8 to participate.
Books below reading level do not count.
Every book must be submitted with the Title, Author, and at least one sentence about what the student liked about the book.
Book information can be turned in via the Reading Challenge handout, by emailing Mrs. McConahy (librarian at nccaed.org), or by filling out the Online Form (Submit Books for the Challenge).
This contest continues for the entire school year and stops when the library stops circulating books at the end of the school year.
Don't forget to check out our Book Scavenger Hunt over the Summer months for a chance to win more prizes.
Use the Printable Sheet Below to Submit Your Books or Email a Copy of the Information Below to the NCCA Librarian (librarian at nccaed.org).
