Your Responsibilities:
Schedule 4 - 6 mentoring sessions with your mentee for a defined length of time. The length of the sessions will be agreed upon between you and the mentee. The program suggests to schedule approximately a 1-hour meeting for the first meeting and 30 minutes for the remaining 3 - 5 meetings. You will be able to schedule additional meetings if there is an agreement between you and the mentee. Meetings are scheduled based on needs, goals, and availability.
Establish goals with mentees to optimize your time together.
Provide coaching and/or guidance through mentorship session discussions. The program suggests to share your professional experiences candidly at your own comfort.
Approach the mentorship program with a positive attitude. Reach out to the NCC Mentorship Committee in case of any concerns.
Participate in the mid-year and end-of-year anonymous surveys sent by the NCC Mentorship Committee.
Participate in two (2) networking sessions for orientation (virtual) and wrap-up (in-person).
Your Eligibility:
Clinical research professional with at least five (5) years experience in the field (academia and/or industry).
Time to meet with mentees for the minimum time required, and additional time as needed.
