Your Responsibilities:
The program has a fee of $50.00. The $50.00 fee can be waived for Northern California Chapter ACRP volunteers who have been volunteers for at least six (6) months. The charge is a nominal charge that is used for the NCC Mentorship mentor volunteers program expenses.
Schedule 4 - 6 mentoring sessions with your mentor for a defined length of time. The length of the sessions will be agreed upon between you and the mentor. The program suggests to schedule approximately a 1-hour meeting for the first meeting and 30 minutes for the remaining 3 - 5 meetings. You will be able to schedule additional meetings if there is an agreement between you and the mentor. Meetings are scheduled based on needs, goals, and availability.
In addition to the meetings with your mentor, allocate time in between meetings to work on the professional development goals discusssed in the meetings.
Establish goals with your mentor in the first meeting to guide and optimize your time together.
Share your expectations clearly and candidly approach the mentorship program with a positive attitude. Reach out to the NCC Mentoring Committee in case of any concerns.
Participate in the mid-year and end-of-year anonymous surveys sent by the NCC ACRP Mentorship Committee.
Participate in two group Mentorship meetings for orientation (virtual) and wrap-up (in-person).
Participate in an interview at the end of the program to provide feedback about the program to the NCC ACRP Mentorship Committee.
It is highly encouraged to participate as a volunteer in one of the several NCC ACRP Committees. Select a committee that you think would be a good fit. Volunteering will provide experience and career development.
It is highly encouraged to participate in NCC ACRP events during the mentorship program for professional development and networking.
Eligibility:
Must be a member of the Northern California Chapter of ACRP and must maintain it for the duration of the year.
Must have at least one (1) year work experience (in any profession; including internships) or completed a clinical trial certification program (transcripts will be requested).

Application Process:
Complete this application form at the link below between January 1st, 2026 through February 15th, 2026 to join the mentorship program as a mentee. The mentorship program duration is April 1st, 2026 - October 31th, 2026.
