PICTURE DAY

October 1st

WONDER DAY!

We are looking forward to Wonder Day, coming up on Friday, October 3rd! (Previously, September 26th)

Our theme this year is Treasure Island. Students may choose to wear costumes for the whole day, or those who want to change may wear a simple costume that is easy to remove from on top of their uniform. Students may also wear prop weapons related to their costumes during the parade, but those items will then be stored in the classroom for the rest of the day. 

This day is intended to be a joyful celebration of the things we as a school community are learning, so please encourage your child to embody the spirit of our virtues when preparing costumes for Wonder Day. 

There will be a parade at 8:00am on October, 3rd, which parents are welcome to watch. The parade route will begin at the doors nearest our classroom at the back of the building, then follow the sidewalk along the south side of the building before turning the corner and eventually re-entering the building through the lobby doors.   

After the parade, each grade level will continue on to their own schedules with celebrations spread out throughout the day. Our wonderful parent volunteer coordinators will be reaching out in the near future with more information about our events for that day, and a sign up link to volunteer.
