High-energy motion, water-power, and maritime exploration
Join the SHTEAM Punks with this motion and maritime exploration. We've set up a workshop full of fun, hands-on SHTEAM stations to scientifically (and creatively!) explore.
Grab your event passport and visit our stations to explore:
• Hydro-powered launchers and DIY water-whistles!
• Sensory Experiments: Toxic Sludge.
• Art & Crafts: Make your own unique, message in a bottle.
• Storytelling: Listen to tales and use your imagination in our story corner.
...and many more activities!
A Note for Parents & Guardians: This is a free, family-friendly event, not a drop-off camp. All children must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of their visit.
Our event is in the Classroom & Faculty Office (CFO), the white tower located in the middle of the TWU Denton campus.
We recommend the following parking options for visitors:
• Oakland Parking Garage: A convenient visitor garage located on Oakland Street.
• Visitor Metered Parking: A paid visitor lot is located on Administration Drive, just north of Brackenridge Hall (next to the ACT building).
• Street Parking: Free street parking may be available on Oakland Street and other surrounding streets.
We recommend giving yourself a few extra minutes to find parking and navigate to the building.
