A "Full SHTEAM Ahead" The Summer Gear-up

Join the SHTEAM Punks with this motion and maritime exploration. We've set up a workshop full of fun, hands-on SHTEAM stations to scientifically (and creatively!) explore.

Grab your event passport and visit our stations to explore:

• Hydro-powered rockets, Facepainting and Geo-Bubbles! 

• Sensory Experiments: Toxic Sludge and Creek-Critters

• Storytelling: Listen to tales and use your imagination in our story corner.

A Note for Parents & Guardians: This is a free, family-friendly event, not a drop-off camp. All children must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of their visit.

Parking & Campus Location

Our event is on the Classroom & Faculty Office (CFO) lawn, the white tower located in the middle of the TWU Denton campus.

We recommend the following parking options for visitors:

• With parking pass, Maroon and Light Blue lots.

• Visitor metered parking lot on Administration Drive (Paid via ParkMobile).

• The visitor parking garage on Oakland Street, top level (Paid via ParkMobile)

• Free street parking may be available on Oakland Street and surrounding streets.

• In case of rain, the event will be held in the ASSC - Anne Stuart Science Complex at 1201 Old Main on the TWU Campus.

We recommend giving yourself a few extra minutes to find parking and navigate to the building.
