High-energy motion, water-power, and maritime exploration
Join the SHTEAM Punks with this motion and maritime exploration. We've set up a workshop full of fun, hands-on SHTEAM stations to scientifically (and creatively!) explore.
Grab your event passport and visit our stations to explore:
• Hydro-powered rockets, Facepainting and Geo-Bubbles!
• Sensory Experiments: Toxic Sludge and Creek-Critters
• Storytelling: Listen to tales and use your imagination in our story corner.
...and many more activities!
A Note for Parents & Guardians: This is a free, family-friendly event, not a drop-off camp. All children must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of their visit.
Our event is on the Classroom & Faculty Office (CFO) lawn, the white tower located in the middle of the TWU Denton campus.
We recommend the following parking options for visitors:
• With parking pass, Maroon and Light Blue lots.
Visitor metered parking lot on Administration Drive (Paid via ParkMobile).
The visitor parking garage on Oakland Street, top level (Paid via ParkMobile)
Free street parking may be available on Oakland Street and surrounding streets.
In case of rain, the event will be held in the ASSC - Anne Stuart Science Complex at 1201 Old Main on the TWU Campus.
We recommend giving yourself a few extra minutes to find parking and navigate to the building.
