Mr. Joseph Dziuba has surpassed the decade mark at Zebra Nation. Aside from being a mathematics teacher during the daytime, Coach Dziuba also advises the Peer Leadership Program, coaches the Varsity Boys Soccer Team, and teaches courses in Digital Leadership at Rutgers University. Coach Dziuba is a self-proclaimed bow-tie connoisseur, having started the #BowTieTuesday trend within the halls of Zebra Nation. In the rest of his free time, you can find him at the weight room working out, at home figuring out how to be a homeowner, or on the sidelines cheering on his favorite team - the Mighty Zebras!
Ms. Alya Bukhari is a freshly-minted tenured Zebra who has been teaching Algebra I for the past five years and loves helping students build confidence in themselves and in math. She also co-advises the Crochet and Crafts Club, where she enjoys getting creative with students and building a fun, welcoming space outside of the classroom. When she’s not in the classroom, she’s usually studying for her own classes as she works toward her PhD. You'll also frequently see her at after-school events, games, and activities, cheering on her students and showing her support in every way she can.
Outside of school, Ms. Bukhari loves to bake and is always happy to share her homemade treats with anyone who asks (or even if they don’t!). She enjoys reading, crocheting, traveling, and relaxing at home with her cats, Socks and Mittens. Whether she’s in the classroom, at a club meeting, or in the stands at a school event, Ms. Bukhari is passionate about building strong relationships and making school a positive place for all students.
