Debate Club

The NBHS Debate Club offers students the opportunity to develop their rhetorical and public speaking skills. For the first part of the year, students select topics and then develop and present debates on resolutions. Then, our focus shifts to compete in Princeton Moot Court, a national competition in late April. In teams of two, students prepare arguments as petitioners and respondents for a mock Supreme Court case using real Supreme Court case law. Debate Club is perfect for students seeking to develop their public speaking or rhetorical skills. We love to argue. Join us!
