Q & A with Captain Romeo Mendoza

• What does it mean to be a part of the Cross Country Program here at NBHS?

  • Being Part of the XC Program means being part of a family, they're truly my second family.

• What is your favorite memory to date?

  • The froshmore meet is my favorite memory so far, it was the last XC meet of my freshman year and I won a metal. What really makes it the best memory was the cheering and encouragement that i got from the upperclassmen.

• What is the outlook for the 2022 season?

  • I'm extremely hopeful this season, we've got so many talented runners that are going to push the team back to where it was all those years ago. I'm especially excited about the Divisions meet and accepting nothing less than first place this upcoming season.
