Summer 2022 Hours Log

In order to maintain membership, returning students need to complete four hours of community service during the summer break. Download, print*, and use this form to log your summer hours for the summer. The logs are due by the first Friday of the school year (August 26). If you have any questions, reach out to one of the two advisors.

*If you do not have access to a printer, the New Braunfels Public Library offers free printing for city residents.

Updates & Announcements

Teacher Help Opportunities

You have the opportunity to come up to the school to help teachers get their classes prepared for the school year. Shifts will last a few hours per day and you will be able to earn community service hours. Just be sure to arrange your transportation before signing up. Click here to sign-up!

T-Shirt Sales & Annual Membership Dues

If you are going to schedule pick up, you can by an NJHS T-Shirt and pay your membership dues. T-Shirts will be sold for $20 a piece and limited sizes will be available. We are hoping to order more by September.

Membership dues will cost $10 for returning members and will need to be paid by Friday September 23 to maintain their membership status. Brand new member who were inducted in the Spring of 2022 and have already paid their dues are exempt. Membership dues can be paid via cash or by a check made out to New Braunfels Middle School (please write NJHS on the notes line). Schedule Pick-Up will be on Friday August 12 from 7:30 am- 4:30 pm in the NBMS Cafe. Reach out to the advisors if you have any questions.

Summer Hours

Don't forget to turn in your summer hours log by the first Friday of the school year (August 26)! Members need at least four service hours to maintain their membership. Failure to do this will result in probation. For volunteer ideas, check out the "Service Hours" tab on the menu. Keep in mind that the service hours need to be completed by the first day of school. For example, completing a service activity on the second day of school would not count. Reach out to one of the advisors if you have any questions.
