Community Service

NJHs members must complete four hours of community service every Fall Semester, Spring Semester, and during their Summer Break. Community service may be anything from volunteering at the New Braunfels Food Bank to writing thank you cards for teachers or first responders, as long as the member is doing something to help others in their community. Completing acts of service that results in the member being paid or solely benefiting the member or a family member/friend (cleaning room, cutting grandma's lawn, calling & talking to relatives) will not count towards community service hours.
