Following the open meeting held on 29th January 2024, Nuneaton Borough Supporters' Co-Operative formed a Steering Group of those interested in helping to decide what Boro fans should do next following the demise of Nuneaton Borough FC.
As a result of this request, the Steering Group held their first meeting on 5th February and have met every week ever since.
The Steering Group has involved around 20 people to date, who all bring different knowledge, skills, experience and viewpoints to the table.
The Steering Group has involved the following people, along with others who contribute: David Axon, Mark Axon, Petar Balac, Martin Ball, Dave Bird, Kevin Brown, Peter Burton, Jonathan Collett, Ian Cook, Greg Daffern, Richard Dean, Derek Dunnachie, Stuart Elliott, Jim Evans, Wayne Goss, James Hayward, Lee Hayward, Matt Jones, Mark Lacrouts, Ben Mayne, Debbie Milton, Justin Palmer, Liam Phillips, Peter Walton.
The Steering Group have made key decisions on a consensus basis. Subgroups have been formed to focus on particular areas, such as finance, football matters, IT/Media and fundraising.
Subgroups have specific tasks and remit and are encouraged/allowed to take leadership of these activities.
The Steering Group and subgroup still have a range of activities to complete in order to get everything in place to start the 2024/2025 season.
