The Football Club is being set up as a Community Interest Company that is limited by guarantee. Simply this means that;

• There are no shares or share holders.

• No dividends paid to board members.

• An 'asset lock'.

• Any profits are reinvested into the club.

The articles of association of the company are currently being finalised and will be shared in due course. 

There was a need to act quickly and form a board in order to register the Community Interest Company to meet FA deadlines.

The Co-Op Representatives on the board are Nuneaton Borough Supporters' Co-Operative members. There are two formal processes that the Supporters' Co-Operative need to go through and are in progress of being set up, they are:

• Asking its members through a vote at the AGM to connect the Supporters' Co-Operative to the new club.

• If this is approved, a process to select Co-Op fan representatives on the new club's board.
  
  

The priority of the Steering Group has been making sure that we have a club and a team to support next season.

The articles of association for the CIC and new football club club are in the final draft stages and will be published in due course. The process of how the new football club board will operate and function will be explained in more detail at that time.

Once a league place has been secured the Supporters' Co-Operative board will be calling a meeting of Co-Op members to formally discuss the Co-Op's role in the new club board.
