Almsgiving is a recognition that all of us have needs, all of us are poor in some way or another, and none of us exists alone and isolated. 

Others in life have need of what we can give them, and we have need of what others can give us. 

To give something brings us out of ourselves into a deep recognition of the other. It heals us and the other person as well.

Our donation of cleaning products are being sent to BEDS Plus, an organization that helps 

vulnerable individuals stabilize their lives through housing and supportive services. 

his donation for those who have been newly housed, simple items such as garbage bags, cleaning wipes, cleaning spray, paper towels, and hand soap  -  

things we often take for granted, can make all the difference to a family in need as they set up their home.
