Circle the City - Class of 2027

WHAT IS CIRCLE THE CITY?

Every year, Nazareth Academy provides a service opportunity for seniors entitled “Circle the City.” This community-wide service project confirms that a Nazareth graduate is someone whose gifts are used in service of the community. This experience embodies how the Sisters of St. Joseph, who from their early founding, responded to the poor and to the needs of the times.

The mission of the Sisters of St. Joseph works toward unity with all God’s people and all creation “That All May Be One.” Nazareth Academy’s mission is to further this Gospel based vision. On MAY 8, 2026, every student from the Class of 2026 will work in various sites throughout the Chicago area, where they will respond to the needs of our time. Faculty, staff, administration and campus ministry are involved in the planning and implementation of this day.
