We're working on creating a functional "table of contents" to organize all the helpful information that's been shared in various forms and by lots of different folks since the switch to remote teaching back in March.
If you have a question you'd like added to the FAQ guide, please contact Kim McGann kmcgann5@naz.edu with your suggestion. Crowdsourcing is our friend!
The single best thing you can do if you are feeling unsure about online teaching is to take the Virtual Learning Bootcamp course or the Essentials of Online & Hybrid Instruction course designed and run by Jenna Sadue and Chris Zimber of Nazareth's Teaching and Learning Technologies.
New cohorts start every Monday, and after the first synchronous kickoff meeting it is an asynchronous course chock full of straightforward, relevant resources for diving in to designing and offering online teaching. The course itself (including the kickoff meeting) models the principles of online teaching it covers, so actually working your way through the course adds even more value in addition to the great resources included in it.
You can sign up here for the class.
