Creating a Link to a Single  Echo360 Video in Moodle

Once a video has been published to a connected Echo360 classroom, you can create secondary links within your course that provide access to specific videos. 

Important note:  In order to use this feature in your Moodle course, a video must first be published (or shared) to an Echo360 classroom.

TIP: Echo360 functionality can be impacted by the use of certain web browsers.  Google Chrome is the recommended web browser for accessing Moodle and Echo360!

Step 1: Click Turn editing on. 

Step 2: Locate the topic section (or week) in which the content will be located and click +Add an activity or resource.

Step 3: In the pop-up menu, scroll down through the many activity choices to the Resources area. Then, select the External Tool activity, and then click Add.

Step 4: Enter a name for the external tool link in the Activity name field.

Step 5: Click the Preconfigured tool field and select Echo360 from the drop-down menu

Step 6: Click Save and Return to course.

Step 7: From your Moodle course homepage, click Echo360 link you just created.

Step 8:  On the Connect your Echo360 Content screen, verify the section is correct and then click Link to a Classroom.

Step 9:  Your list of videos published to the section will appear, click the desired video title. 

Step 10:  Once selected, click the LINK CONTENT button.
