Adding a Video to an Echo360 Course Section

Once your Moodle course has been linked to an Echo360 classroom, students will be able to view any videos that have been added to the course.  You are able to quickly add videos that are stored in your Personal Library or you can upload new video files to the system from an external source such as your computer.

TIP: Echo360 functionality can be impacted by the use of certain web browsers.  Google Chrome is the recommended web browser for accessing Moodle and Echo360!

Option 1: Adding a library video from your Echo360 classroom

Note: The Echo360 system refers to each item (videos or presentations) that display in your classroom  list as a Class.

Step 1: While viewing your Echo360 section, click New Class.

Step 2:  Enter a title in the Name field and click OK.

Step 3:  Click the Plus sign (+) and select Add Video from the pop-up menu.

Step 4:  Click Import from your library (or Upload a file if you wish to upload a new video to the section).

Step 5:  Click the appropriate video name from your library list and click Done.

Step 6: A green play icon will appear when the video has been added to the class and is ready for viewing.

Note: You may not be able to immediately access newly uploaded videos. A light gray play icon indicates that the video has been added but is still processing in the Echo360 system.
