Monday: Each spelling group is given a new list of words to learn. The groups are based on your spelling age and the lists are based around spelling patterns and frequently mispelled words.
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday (apart from Assembly days etc...) 10 mins practising writing out our words. We have a list of ways to do this that we choose from in class.
Tuesday and Thursday - Understanding our Words. We choose from a range of activities that help us to understand what our words mean, how to use them and how to extend them.
