Easter Poems: We made a list of the things that remind us of Easter. Then we chose three of these things to create lines in an "Easter is...." poem.

We worked with a buddy and chose a picture and we decided on one that we thought we could write a story for. We used a planning sheet and focused on what we could see, hear and feel in the picture. Then we wrote the hook and the first paragraph. We spent quite a while on it so it was interesting and made the reader want to read more.
