Advancement in the NJROTC program requires cadets to maintain academic standards, participate in unit events, and exhibit military skill and ability in different areas. These requirements are well within each cadet’s capability and therefore, every cadet has the opportunity to earn promotions. Promotion are held quarterly and an awards night ceremony is held at the end of the year. Additionally, Cadet of the Quarter and meritorious promotion opportunities are available throughout the year at the discretion of the Senior Naval Science Instructor (SNSI).
