What is it?
Google Meet is a video conferencing app. It integrates with G Suite versions of Google Calendar and Gmail and shows the complete list of participants and scheduled meetings. It shows a "join" button for users to connect to the meeting and provides options to mute and turn off the video during the meeting. (source)
Why would I use it?
Meet simulates a face-to-face meeting. You can share your screen, share links, and speak naturally.
It has built in Closed Captioning
If you use the Google Meet app on your iPad, you can share your screen and use a whiteboard app like Explain Everything to do math problems and more.
