While we do have a number of non-fiction/reference books available for use, we are promoting digital reference and research materials for the duration of our construction process as we do not have access to the full collection. Let us know what topics you are looking for, and we will curate a collection of print books - both from our collection and the local CLAMS libraries as needed.
While we rebuild our print collection, students should create accounts with the Boston Public Library and their local CLAMS library to add to Sora - both for reading and research purposes.
Research help: keyword list creation, topic refinement, thesis creation, style and format (MLA, APA, Chicago, etc), help using Boolean operators in your search, and where to search for resources.
NRHS provides students access to scholarly databases. Examples of resources: GALE databases, EBSCO, JSTOR, ProQuest. Through these databases, we can access periodicals and magazines like the Boston Globe, Cape Cod Times, The Economist, and so much more!
