How your donation can support InwardBound WIlderness
For this group of young women to have this awesome opportunity it requires traveling from Massachusetts to California. We travel 2 hours from our home base to Boston for our flight into San Francisco, CA. We then load up our gear into our van rental for a 3 hour drive to Yosemite National Park. We spend one night in the frontcountry before heading into the wilderness for 4 nights/5 days. When we emerge from the backcountry we spend one more night in the frontcountry before heading back into San Francisco to catch our flight back home to Boston.
Itemized Costs
Flight per person: $600.00 (will be updated to reflect 2026)
Luggage check-in, 10 backpacks - $35 each = $700 (2 free each way)
Program cost per participant: $1960 (will be updated to reflect 2026)
Van rental/gas: approx. $900
Total : $2375 per participant (will be updated to reflect 2026) .... priceless!
