Kindergarten and Grade 1 : Vistit the MUSICPLAY LINK
Choose the Read Along "The Little Old Lady Who Was Not Afraid of Anything" and add some different instrument sounds from around your home for each item. You will need a shaker, scraper, tapper, and drum. Then practice some vocal sounds with Rattlebone Rock.
To make your own instrument kit, you will need to find a wood, scraper or shaker, something metal, and a drum type instrument. The kitchen is an awesome place to find these things - wooden spoons, cheese grater, metal measuring cups, rice-filled containers, buckets, etc. If you'd like to create something fancier, there are some crafty ideas below for additional home-made instruments! Have an adult help with glue and scissors.
