Registration for SLRF is open:
Thank you for being part of SLRF 2025! Please review the following guidelines to help you prepare for your presentation. If you have any questions, feel free to contact the organizing committee at 2025slrf@gmail.com.
Individual Paper Presentations
Session Format:
Each presenter will have 20 minutes for their presentation, followed by 10 minutes of Q&A.
Presenters are expected to share a full presentation of their research (e.g., motivation, literature review, methodology, results, discussion, implications).
Presenters are responsible for keeping time for one another. We encourage you to coordinate ahead of time and support each other with smooth transitions.
Please arrive at your room at least 10 minutes early to load your slides and check your setup.
Technology & Equipment:
Each room will have a Windows computer, screen, and projector.
An IT support team will be available throughout the day to assist with technical issues.
While most rooms will have common adapters, we strongly recommend bringing your own HDMI adapter, especially if your device requires a specific connection type. We also suggest bringing a copy of your slides on a USB drive as a backup in case of compatibility issues.
Roundtable Presentations
Session Format:
Each presenter will have 10 minutes to present, followed by 5 minutes of Q&A with other presenters and attendees.
Each roundtable session will run for 45 minutes and include 3 presenters at each table. There will be 4 roundtables running concurrently in the same room.
A timekeeper will help manage transitions to ensure everyone has time to share and participate in the discussion.
Table Assignment:
Your table number will be listed in the conference program, which will be available soon.
Please check your table assignment in advance and arrive early to get settled.
Equipment & Materials:
No A/V equipment will be provided for roundtable sessions.
You’re welcome to bring a printed handout or your own laptop to show materials to attendees at your table.
Please note: there will be no projector or extension cords, and access to outlets may be limited, so ensure your device is fully charged.
Roundtables are a great space to share works in progress, get feedback, and connect with other researchers in an informal, collaborative setting. We’re looking forward to the conversation your work will inspire!
Poster Presentations
Poster Size & Display:
Posters should be no larger than 34 inches x 44 inches (either portrait or landscape orientation is fine).
Easels and backing boards will be provided. You will be responsible for printing and bringing your own poster.
We will provide clips or push pins for mounting your poster.
Set-Up Instructions:
Please check the program (available soon) for the exact time and location of your poster session.
Arrive at your session location at least 20 minutes before the session begins to set up your poster and get settled.
You’ll be expected to stand by your poster during the session to answer questions and engage with attendees.
