The NAU in Mexico Program for Spanish gives students the opportunity to spend 3 weeks in the beautiful city of Mérida, in the Yucatán peninsula. Students take clases at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) and participate in various volunteer projects, allowing them to gain real-world experience while connecting directly with the local community. Students also visit important cultural sites such as Mayan ruins, museums, and indigenous villages.
