Paper vs Plast-eco

Paper-based packaging, is a biodegradable and renewable material that is made from trees, a natural resource that can be replenished (unfortunately, while it can be, the it is not as the world is heading towards more and more deforestation). Paper-based packaging is also recyclable and biodegradable. However, the production of paper-based packaging consumes more energy and water than plastic packaging and generates more greenhouse gas emissions. Also, the recycling of paper-based packaging is not as efficient as plastic and it's not suitable for all types of products.

Paper-based packaging has a greater environmental impact than Plast-eco, due to the energy and water consumption, and greenhouse gas emissions generated during its production.
