A revolutionary packaging embedded with a plastic-eating enzyme
ISO 15985 Certified Biodegradable
Compliant with PWM 2016, 2018 & 2022 & EPR laws of India
Powered by Enzymes
We add BioD proprietary additive which is also Organic and Food-grade and can make any type of plastic “biodegradable” as defined by ISO and ASTM standards.
BioD additive is currently only available in USA and India via Vasudha Eco Projects.
Tests conducted shows Complete biodegradability in absence or less of oxygen in dry and wet landfill under Method ISO 15985 / ASTM 5511. Tested in Internationally reputed labs [ Indian Institute of Packaging Mumbai, Intertek Mumbai ]
Food-grade tested by the Indian Institute of Packaging, CIPET & Intertek labs, India.
At only ₹0.15 more per bottle, Indian Railways were able to successfully pilot the Biodegradable PET water bottle. Over 10 lakh such bottles were successfully made and served to passengers in 2019-2020.
BioD was used in IRCTC's Rail Neer biodegradable bottle project.
