I grew up in Sacramento, going to elementary school here and then high school, attending Jesuit High School. I moved on to the University of San Francisco, where I graduated with a degree in Psychology. I am of Pacific Islander descent, Samoan to be exact. And like most Pacific Islanders, I come from a big family that I dig spending time with. I believe that with the schools I attended, and my familial background comes my passion for helping those around me in any way that I can.
I started with Westlake Charter's BASE Program in 2009. I helped start the BASE Program for NCS Star Academy and was a site coordinator for them until 2016, when I began working with NP3. It’s been fun to see MAP grow and work with the staff and students in the NP3 community. The best part of the day is getting to see all the students after school and creating a place where they can hang out and have fun with their friends.
I also enjoy volleyball, both coaching and playing. Playing is fun, but I find it more fun in coaching the sport I love. In 15 years of coaching, I’ve coached at a few High Schools in the area (Freshman to Varsity levels) and currently, coach club (SPVC). If not in volleyball, you can find me painting, baking, gaming (a little), or hanging out with family and friends at events around town.
I was born and raised in Sacramento Ca. Outside of working at MAP I also work behind the chair doing hair. When I'm not busy at work I like to relax either at home with my dog, traveling, having girls night with my friends, or going shopping! My favorite part of working in MAP is being able to build connections with the students and be a listening ear. A goal that I have for myself would be to eventually buy a house.
Introducing the MAP Leaders
After graduating from NP3 HS, I’m currently working and focusing on gaining experience while figuring out my next steps. I’ve always known I wanted to work with kids in the future, so this opportunity helps me as I’m learning new skills on the side and getting involved in projects that help me grow, both personally and professionally. Outside of work, I enjoy exploring new places, traveling, hiking, and spending time with family and friends when I can. I chose to work in MAP because I enjoy spending time with kids and believe in creating positive spaces for them. I hope to continue working with kids and supporting their growth in meaningful ways.
I am currently in my third year of university, working towards my Bachelor’s in Psychology. My goal is to go to graduate school to become a licensed Child Psychologist. Outside of work, I enjoy anything art-related, such as scrapbooking, journaling, henna, painting, and writing. I love working at MAP to witness the joy and uniqueness each student brings to our program. It has been so fulfilling to see the students grow each year that I’ve known them.

Hi! I’m currently attending Sacramento State as a Liberal Studies major to become an elementary school teacher. It’s a path I’m really excited about, and working at MAP has been a great way to gain hands-on experience. It’s not only good practice for my future career, but I also genuinely enjoy spending time with kids. Outside of school and work, I love to read, write, bake, listen to music, and watch movies.
