Matey After-school Program

The Matey After-school Program is a non-profit organization catering to NP3 K- 5 and 6th grade students.  After being under the guidance of Westlake Charter’s BASE program from August 2016 - June 2018, the program stood on it’s own two feet and began running July 2, 2018.  With the basic structure set forth by the program before, MAP is a program that is ever evolving and continues to grow in student enrollment, staff diversity, and program versatility.

 Our goal with MAP is to create an environment where students are able to socialize and engage with their peers and our staff in ways that give them a “mental break" from their daily routines.  We have a great and diverse staff who are able to connect with our students in their own unique ways with the understanding that each child is their own person. In MAP, we enjoy having the kids be just that, kids.
