After School Support

Students are welcomed to and encouraged to stay after school for extra academic support, general homework assistance or additional assessment preparation and skills review/practice.

I will be available most Tuesdays, Wednesdays and/or Thursdays from 2:05-3:00pm. My weekly after-school availability will always be updated and posted in the Team Responsibility Homework Google Doc.

Note that the Team Responsibility Homework Google Doc is best viewed in OUTLINE MODE. Each new page contains the week's homework. The top page will contain the current week's homework.

As a reminder, all students should be recording homework in their agenda books or in Google Keep at school. This page is simply a "back-up" to the written agenda book that all students should be using on a daily basis. The calendar is also a wonderful resource for absent students.

Homework Guidelines and Expectations:

• Always show your work and explain your thinking when required.

• Homework will be assigned and checked regularly.

• Math7 Students: Plan to spend approximately 30 minutes each night on homework with no distractions.

• Accelerated Students: Plan to spend approximately 45-60 minutes each night on homework with no distractions.

• Homework will be due the next day unless otherwise noted. If you have an emergency and are unable to complete your homework, please bring a note from your parent/guardian to class the next day (e-mail notices are acceptable).

• Parents may provide assistance on homework but may not complete problems and/or assignments for you.

I do cross-team with Team Integrity for two math classes.
