The Tuition Guarantee Program provides tuition and, in some cases, housing assistance for families meeting the income guidelines. Eligibility is determined through the FAFSA application; there is no separate application for this program. They must complete the FAFSA and college application before the deadline.

Start researching early, meet deadlines, and you may be on your way to scholarship success. You can learn about scholarships in several ways, including visiting the Financial Aid Scholarship information page, which will give you links to several scholarship sites for you to visit. Scholarships are gifts. They don't need to be repaid. There are thousands of them, offered by schools, employers, individuals, private companies, nonprofits, communities, religious groups, and professional and social organizations. A scholarship might cover the entire cost of your tuition, or it might be a one-time award of a few hundred dollars. Either way, it’s worth applying for, because it’ll help reduce the cost of your education.
As part of our commitment to support the education of the members we serve, Medina EC awards scholarships to members who have a high school senior graduating or are adults pursuing higher education. The number and amount of scholarships vary annually.
The Gerloff Company Inc. awards scholarships to deserving high school students who are continuing their education at a College, University, or Trade School.
Scholarship applications must be postmarked or e-mailed by April 15th
Medina County Sisters, Inc. is accepting scholarship applications from FEMALE senior students who show aptitude in seeking higher education. Sisters, Inc. will be offering one $1000 scholarship.

The Student Scholarship Program, administered by the Texas Rural Water Foundation (TRWF), was established to recognize and assist qualified individuals in their pursuit of a higher education and a potential career in the water and/or wastewater industry.

Texas Association Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) offer several scholarships to members in support of their goal to obtain a college education. Scholarship applicants applying for scholarships through Texas FCCLA must meet both the standard requirements set for all FCCLA scholarships, as well as the requirements specific to the scholarship in which the member applies. Our Educational Member Benefits offer scholarships for Catholic Life members and our faith-based community. These benefits include the All American Scholar Program for graduating high school seniors, the Rev. Msgr. Droll Scholarship for Catholic Laity, the Rev. Msgr. Henkes Seminarian Scholarship and the Rev. Msgr. Stuebben Seminarian Scholarship. The deadline to apply is March 2

During a typical academic year, TILF will disburse more than $1 million to nearly 500 students attending colleges and universities throughout Texas. To be eligible to apply for a TILF scholarship, students must have participated in a UIL Academic State Meet at least once during their high school career. All items must be submitted by May 8
The Alliance for Young Artists & Writers partners with Art Institutes, colleges and universities to earmark scholarships for college-bound Scholastic Awards recipients. While scholarships for graduating seniors are designated through the Alliance's Scholarship Partners, they are not guaranteed. Hach & Rose, LLP will provide $5,000 to help one student who is a graduating senior in high school or in good standing with their university, college, community college, or graduate school in the United States.
Essay requirement -“Your life was touched in some manner by an individual who was hurt in an accident caused by someone else’s negligence. Tell us how the event impacted your life, and what you learned or how you have grown as a result.” Deadline: June 30
College Sports Scholarships (C.C.S.) is an organization that is proud to award a $1,000 scholarship to a college student who best represents a true leader in sports and life. We encourage all current or future college students who competed in a sport at the high school level to apply for the College Sports Recruiting Scholarship. All entries are due by July 1st
In 1990, Vinson & Elkins created the V&E Scholars Program to defray the costs of a college education for minority students with strong academic credentials, an interest in the legal profession, and financial need. The Program awards seven scholarships each year to diverse high school students Opens: May 18 and ends on July 24.
The purpose of the Texas Armed Services Scholarship Program is to encourage students to become members of the Texas Army National Guard, the Texas Air National Guard, the Texas State Guard, the United States Coast Guard, or the United States Merchant Marine, or to become commissioned officers in any branch of the armed services of the United States. The Dirk Derrick Car & Truck Accident Injury Scholarship is an award for any current or soon-to-be undergraduate student in the United States who has had his or her life altered due to an injury from a car or truck accident, be it their own injury, that of a loved one, or an influential individual. Deadline: December 15th
Must submit a 1-2 page (typed) essay setting forth specific ways to better educate the public and detailed steps to end distracted driving.
Must send an official copy of the student’s current transcript. Must be current full-time students, entering or attending a university or law school.

Applicants must use the online application to complete and submit all the required information in order to apply for the Navy ROTC scholarship. Applicants are asked to pick five Navy ROTC affiliated colleges or universities in their scholarship application. Open from 1 April 2019 to 31 December 2019
Fund study abroad by U.S. undergraduate students in world regions critical to U.S. interests.
Maximum awards are determined by duration abroad:
Up to $20,000 for 25-52 weeks (preferred)
Up to $10,000 for 12-24 weeks
Up to $8,000 for 8-12 weeks (STEM majors only) Deadline: January 26
Scholarships ranging from $500 to $5,000 and other awards, as announced, are available to high school seniors who are United States citizens planning careers in government (local, state, or federal) service. Students must submit essays not exceeding 300 words, typed and double spaced, telling why they want to enter government service. Recommendations required. Deadline: January 15
Entry to Air Force ROTC is not limited to scholarship recipients. Applicants who are not selected or choose not to apply for an AFROTC scholarship are encouraged to participate in the program with the possibility of being considered for other scholarship opportunities while in college.

REBEKAH ASSEMBLY OF TEXAS (IRMA GESCHE SCHOLARSHIP) A $1,000 scholarship is available for a Texas resident to attend any accredited two or four-year college/university. The scholarship is based on academic ability, community service, personal development, and financial need. Applicant must submit a completed application along with a high school transcript, three (3) reference letters, and a typed essay.

The HSF Scholarship is designed to assist students of Hispanic heritage to obtain a university degree. Scholarships are available, on a competitive basis, to:

Students planning to earn a trade school certificate are not eligible for this scholarship.

The competition is open to high school seniors, with a grade point average of 3.0 or better, who are preparing to enter college and intends to become a journalist and who will bring diversity to US journalism.
The scholarship consists of a $2,000 one-year scholarship, which can be renewed for up to three years at $2,500 per year. Deadline March 1stEntry and Eligibility Requirements: * Must be a recently accepted high school student, undergraduate or graduate student from an accredited college/university in the U.S. * Must be majoring in any type of art, communications, English, film, fine arts, journalism, multimedia, photography or visual arts. * Submit 3 photos demonstrating your best photography. Photos should be no larger than 1,000 px. on the longest side and 72 dpi. * Write a short essay of at least 500 words describing your interest in photography and/or the relation of photography to your chosen career or passion. Deadline: March 1st of each year
Competitive scholarships are available for high school seniors and college students who are pursuing a career in printing technology, printing management, or graphic communication. Amount: $1,000-$5,000 yearly. The Recipient must be registered as a full-time student. Scholarships are renewed if the student maintains a cumulative 3.0 GPA yearly. Opens Nov. 1st Closes March 15
The scholarship is open nationally to high school seniors with hearing loss requiring hearing aids or Cochlear Implants in their daily life. The scholarship recipients will receive two state-of-the-art ReSound Hearing Aids that best fit his/her hearing loss, plus a $2000 Scholarship towards the student’s college or vocational school of choice.

Kids' Chance of Texas provides scholarship opportunities for kids in Texas who have had a parent severely or fatally injured while in the course and scope of their job. Feeding Tomorrow awards annual scholarships to students pursuing an undergraduate degree in a variety of disciplines within the science of food. The ExxonMobil Engineering Scholarship Program recognizes outstanding Hispanic high school seniors who plan to pursue a degree in engineering at U.S. post-secondary institutions.

The Gates Scholarship (TGS) is a highly selective, last-dollar scholarship for outstanding, minority, high school seniors from low-income households. Each year, the scholarship is awarded to 300 of these student leaders, with the intent of helping them realize their maximum potential.

The 2021 National Hispanic Health Professionals Scholarship is open to any student enrolled full time in the following U.S. based accredited graduate programs:
• Medicine: allopathic or osteopathic
• Dentistry
• Pharmacy
• Nursing (including BSN)
• Public Health/Policy
• Physician Associate
Eligible students must be enrolled full-time for the upcoming academic year.
Scholarships are available competitively to undergraduate, four-year college, and graduate students who meet the criteria described below and abide by the following requirements. The Out to Innovate™ Scholarships are intended for undergraduate and graduate students pursuing degrees in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM) programs who are either lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender (LGBT), or an active ally of the LGBT community
April 1 – June 4
This $500 scholarship is awarded to a student who is part of the LGBTQ+ community and wants to build awareness for that community. You must be a U.S. citizen or resident to apply. You can apply online. There’s no essay required.
The deadline is July 1
This $1,000 scholarship is given to a current undergraduate college student. Applicants must write an essay between 100 and 500 words on self-love and how they’ll work to build LGBTQ+ awareness and positivity. Apply online through the scholarship website bold.org.
The deadline is July 31
The Pride Foundation in the Northwest offers 60 different scholarships for LGBTQ+ students, and it only requires one application to be considered for all of them. Students with financial needs and who don’t have a strong LGBTQ+ support system can apply for these scholarships.
Though students can attend college anywhere, they must reside in one of the following states: Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, or Washington. The next scholarship window will open on October 11. Go here to apply.
LGBTQ+ students studying journalism can apply for this $5,000 scholarship, which requires five samples or clips and a written story about an LGBTQ+ issue. Both incoming and current undergraduate or graduate students are eligible for this award, given by NLGJA: The Association of LGBTQ Journalists.
