Art III

This course is designed for students with an interest in advancing their skills in a variety of art mediums, along with the study of art history. Artworks created are mainly 2-dimensional and some 3-dimensional artworks. Projects created during this course include graphite, charcoal, acrylic paint, printmaking, book-making, jewelry making, textiles, mixed-media collage, hand-built and wheel-thrown pottery. Students are required to participate in weekly sketchbook assignments, art history research, art portfolio creation, and community art shows.
