Art II

This course is a continuation of previous concepts, techniques, and some art mediums covered in Art 1. This course combines the study of art history and art production. Artworks created are 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional artworks. Projects created during this course include graphite, colored pencil, scratchboard, watercolor, acrylic paint, pen and ink, papier-mâché, and hand-built and wheel-thrown pottery. Students are required to participate in weekly sketchbook assignments, art history research, and create an art portfolio.
