Shilling STEAM Lab Sign Up Guidelines
Who Can Sign Up?
Teachers must sign up through the correct Google calendar, and can choose from the following:
Shilling STEAM Lab + Collaboration Rooms
To ensure that everyone can access the space, please only sign up for time slots up to two weeks in advance.
How Many People Can Go?
After signing up, teachers can bring 4 students to each collaboration room (up to 8 students, not including the green screen room). You may also bring your whole class to the Shilling STEAM Lab.
When Can We Go?
Anytime the calendar shows an open time slot, you may sign up to use a space. Please note that you must sign up before bringing students.
Housekeeping and Room Use
I signed up! What should I keep in mind when using the space?
If you signed up for the collaboration/green screen rooms please note the following:
Teachers must regularly check on their students through the class period. You may want to check out the whole space to bring your entire class to the Shilling STEAM lab so you can help supervise.
Only the stools with tennis balls on their feet should be used in the green screen room.
You may use the green screen sheet, lego wall, and pop up green screens in addition to the room for filming.
Have students clean up the spaces before they leave. Teachers must check spaces to make sure their students are not leaving items or a mess behind.
Paint should only be used in the main Shilling STEAM lab area and NOT in the collaboration rooms, as they are carpeted.

If borrowing tools (hot glue guns, saws, etc.) or reusable materials, please make sure to email techhelp@nashobabrooks.org so we can log this and be accountable for where every tool is.
If you need classroom technology, email techhelp@nashobabrooks.org and we can drop it off for you.
