Proctortrack is a proctoring service that allows students to record themselves and their screens while completing a quiz in Moodle. Once students complete an “Onboarding” assignment to test their technology and verify who they are, they can complete any proctored assignment an instructor creates in Moodle or elsewhere. If an exam is in a third-party vendor program, the instructors can create a one-question quiz in Moodle and allow students to access the other program to complete the exam.
In addition to student authentication and video/audio/screen recording, Proctortrack the service includes artificial intelligence to monitor and flag certain types of behaviors. Nash Community College currently has Level 3 proctoring which means one or more humans review the recordings and flags and provide feedback for the instructors. This extra feature compared to other proctoring services saves instructors time so they can focus on the key points in the video where possible violations have occurred and quickly accept or reject a student's submission.
