Used for real-time and asynchronous discussions, collaboration, brainstorming, and assessments
Supports text, images, videos, voice recordings, and AI-generated content
Provides interactivity through comments, reactions, votes on posts, and instructor grading and feedback
Instructors can use Padlet to promote engagement through collaboration, knowledge sharing, and appealing to multiple learning styles.

Effective spring 2025, Padlet has been fully integrated with Moodle. This feature allows instructors to create a Padlet that their students to access the Padlet directly via Moodle.
Go to your Moodle course
Turn editing on
Click Add and activity or resource
Select Padlet
Click Select content
If you have an existing Padet, select the Padlet you want to use. If not, click the link to make a new Padlet which takes you to the Padlet site/dashboard. Once you make the new Padlet, come back to select it later.
Note: Only select the “Create a copy for each user” option if you want to make a template for each student to have their own Padlet versus posting to the group Padlet.
Click Save and return to course
Grade Passback: This feature allows you to grade your students' Padlet posts and have the grade sync back to the Moodle gradebook.
