Nash Digital Teaching & Learning is not only dedicated to offering the best learning experience for students, but also the best instructional support to our faculty. This site contains resources and tutorials that will provide all faculty most of the tools necessary to provide quality web-enhanced and online instruction.
Since the inception of online education, research has shown a gap between student success rates in the face-to-face environment in comparison with the online counterpart. This challenge is not unique to Nash Community College; it is a nationwide problem. The college must provide high-engagement strategies and best practices in online instruction to close the success gap.
The Digital Teaching & Learning Department (formerly NashOnline) was formed in 2016 to focus on best practices for online instruction. The department is made up of Instructional Designers to assist all instructors in each discipline. Included in these best practices is a set of research-based expectations and strategies for instructors that will give students the best opportunity for success.
