Congratulations to our 8 NAHS A Cappella Choir students (Emma Bader, Ava Baker, Katelyn Kieninger, Connor Mitts, Aleksander Saken, Annie Trybus, Drew Wintersteller, and Grant Woelfle), who were selected by audition to participate in the BGSU Falcon Choral Festival Honor Choir!
This annual event brings together outstanding high school musicians for a full day of rehearsals, musical collaboration, and a culminating performance, led by university professors Dr. Brown and Dr. Schnipke! We are incredibly proud of their hard work and representation of NAHS.
The NAHS Theatre Department is proud to present its fall musical, the iconic "Chicago: Teen Edition."
"Chicago: Teen Edition" transports us to the roaring twenties, where Roxie Hart, a chorus girl with big ambitions, murders her unfaithful lover and convinces her devoted husband, Amos, to take the blame—until he realizes the truth. Sent to death row, Roxie encounters fellow “Merry Murderess” Velma Kelly, and the two fierce rivals battle for fame, headlines, and ultimately, freedom.
Performances are Thursday, November 20th at 7 p.m., Friday, November 21st at 7 p.m., Saturday, November 22nd at 2 p.m., and Saturday, November 22nd at 7 p.m. at the McCoy Center for the Arts. Tickets can be purchased at tickets.capa.com or at the door.
With showstoppers like “All That Jazz,” “Cell Block Tango,” and “Roxie," this electrifying production is an experience you won’t want to miss!
One of our amazing NAHS Choir Students, Ava Baker, is currently in a HUGE competition, and needs our help to send her to the next round! If she makes it to the grand finale of the competition, she will be sent to New York for a once-in-a- lifetime cabaret performance opportunity. The grand prize includes scholarships, work sessions with renowned vocal coaches and casting directors, and much more.
You can vote once a day at the link below! You can also use multiple emails for more votes. The link also contains her audition video, if you want to give it a watch! Voting ends next Wednesday, November 12th.
Note: They will send you an email where you have to confirm your vote!
What an AMAZING day our NAHS A Cappella Choir members Juliet Erlenbach, Annie Trybus, Drew Wintersteller, and Grant Woelfle had at the OCC Honor Choir at Otterbein University! Congratulations on a fabulous concert, and an even more fabulous day full of fun, learning, laughter, and music-making!
The BGSU Falcon Choral Festival Honor Choir brings together high school singers from across the state for a day of music-making at Bowling Green State University.
We are thrilled to share that 8 students from New Albany High School Choirs have been selected to represent us at this year’s festival! These 8 Eagles will be trading in their Eagle wings for Falcon wings for the day, and we couldn’t be prouder!
On Monday, November 24, 2025, these singers will spend the day on campus rehearsing under the direction of BGSU’s outstanding choral faculty, connecting with other talented students from across the state, and experiencing collegiate-level music-making. The day will conclude with an evening concert showcasing their hard work.
Please join us in congratulating these outstanding singers for their dedication and musical growth!
