Step into the Barony of Namron’s 50th Year History Pavilion, a living chronicle of our journey across five decades. The exhibit is organized by each Baron and Baroness’s tenure, guiding visitors era by era through photos, regalia, event tokens, scrolls, and personal stories that shaped Namron’s identity. From early campfires and first tourneys to signature events, awards, and community milestones, each section highlights the traditions fostered, challenges met, and innovations introduced under that pair’s leadership. Together, these chapters reveal how artisans, fighters, scribes, bards, and stewards have woven a shared legacy—honoring our past while inspiring the next fifty years.
Throughout the many years of Medieval Fair, our lands have seen their share of sudden and powerful storms sweeping across the grounds. In the midst of these tempests, the winds have at times proven too strong, and our beloved Gwyneth Pavilion—named in honor of Baroness Gwyneth, our first Baroness and a foundational figure in our Barony—has been struck down. This pavilion has long stood not only as a place of shelter but also as a symbol of our shared history, service, and community, making its loss all the more meaningful to those who have gathered beneath it.
With the blessing of Their Excellencies, a thoughtful and respectful plan has been set in motion to ensure that the spirit of the Gwyneth Pavilion continues to endure. The great pavilion will be carefully repurposed, its canvas transformed into sturdy and beautiful haversacks for the populace to carry and cherish. In this way, what once stood tall above us will now travel alongside us, remaining a part of our daily lives and events.
These unique canvas bags will be made primarily from the original material of the Gwyneth Pavilion, with only minimal additional fabric used where needed for durability and design. Each haversack will feature a distinctive green flap adorned with a black storm motif—a fitting tribute both to the trials the pavilion endured and to the resilience of our Barony. The bags will be available for a set donation at Protectorate, and possibly at earlier events as they are completed.
All proceeds from these donations will go directly toward the Barony of Namron Greater Beautification Project. This initiative seeks to enhance the presence and legacy of our Barony through projects such as the construction of the Great Wall of Namron, the creation of silken banners to display our pride, and, in time, perhaps even the raising of a new pavilion to once again gather beneath. In honoring Baroness Gwyneth and preserving the memory of her namesake pavilion, we ensure that her legacy—and the strength of our community—continues to flourish.

Front and center, Vindheim’s youth will meet this challenge with courage and courtesy, their banners flying high in the wind—bright symbols of their growing skill, dedication, and spirit. Each step onto the field, each salute exchanged, reflects not only their training, but their place in a tradition that thrives through them.
As Calontir’s young warriors arrive to meet them, the field transforms into a vibrant display of shared purpose, where friendly rivalry is matched by mutual respect. Laughter and determination mingle beneath the fluttering banners, as these young fighters test themselves and one another in the truest spirit of the game.
Around them stands a steadfast circle of support—marshals, mentors, and families—whose guidance and vigilance ensure that honor and safety remain at the heart of every bout. Under watchful eyes and encouraging voices, the youth of both Vindheim and Calontir shine brightly, embodying the future of the dream with courage, joy, and an unyielding sense of camaraderie.

Masquerade Ball
At 6pm on 7 June 1520, Henry VIII of England met François I of France near Calais, for an astonishingly grand European festival, designed to improve relations between the two great rival kingdoms.
So magnificent was the occasion that it became known as the Field of Cloth of Gold.
The momentous moment marked the start of 18 days of feasts, tournaments, masquerades and religious services.
Join us Saturday night near the main hall for an enchanting masquerade inspired by the splendor and grandeur of the Field of Cloth of Gold. Step into a world of opulence and diplomacy as we recreate the spirit of this historic gathering, where nobles and courtiers once met in a dazzling display. The evening will be filled with lively medieval music, elegant dancing, and a selection of delicious snacks to sustain your revelry.
Mistress Adena and Don Cornelius will graciously guide attendees through a variety of period dances, offering both instruction and encouragement to newcomers and experienced dancers alike. Their expertise will help bring the rhythms and movements of the past to life, making the evening as immersive as it is enjoyable. We are also hopeful to feature live music, adding an authentic and vibrant atmosphere to the festivities.
Guests are encouraged to don their finest masquerade attire and masks, embracing the mystery and pageantry of the occasion. Whether you come to dance, observe, or simply enjoy the ambiance, this promises to be a memorable night of celebration, elegance, and community.
