Naim hosted a storytelling event at Sapphire condo on Malaysia Day!

13 September 2018|Kuching

A well told story is magical in how it can reach across cultural and age divides to touch everyone. And this was exactly what happened on Malaysia Day as three renowned storytellers from Bali and West Malaysia mesmerized children aged between 3 - 8 years old with folktales accompanied by traditional musical instruments at our Naim Sapphire Condominium Homes.

Even the their parents were not immune to the charms of a good story as many of them were seen clapping and singing away together with their children in response to stories told by Made Taro, Gede Tarmada and Ng Kok Keong. Taro, who has more than 35 years of experience in storytelling, was also the recipient of the prestigious Cultural Medallion from the President of the Republic of Indonesia in 2009

The two-hour storytelling event was organised by IKA Picture House mainly to inculcate a love for reading and encourage parents to bond with their children. Naim who hosted the event saw as many as 20 families participating in the storytelling session.

Most of the families also took the opportunity to visit our show units at Sapphire Condo after the storytelling event as they were very impressed by the top notch facilities and the chic resort-living concept offered by Naim’s Sapphire on The Park.
