Course Registration

In order to access the course material every student every year in every class must first register the course to a Pearson Account. Only after the student has registered for the course may they access the material.

To register students will need 5 items;


1. Registration website PearsonSchool.com/ACCESS


2. Textbook Title

Students will need to know the exact title of their textbook include the edition number.

3. Pearson Student Account

Students will need to have or create a Pearson Student Account to utilize the platform. They will be responsible for knowing and remembering this account. This account can be created during the registration process but it should be noted students should only have to create an account once during their time at NAFCS. Once the account is created it can continued to be used for every year after. If a student has Algebra 1 in 7th grade and they create an account then they can continue to use that same account for the next 6 years. Students will also be able to use this account for MathXL for School, MyMathLab for School, and Science Mastering courses. It is recommended students use their full username@student.nafcs.org email for their Pearson Student Account username when creating the account. As well as using their username@student.nafcs.org email instead of a personal email during account creation. For the password for the Pearson Student Account it is recommended to use Nafcs followed by the students graduating year, i.e. Nafcs2020.

4. Access Code

The Access Code is a 30 character code provide and is specific to the give school year. Students will need to enter all of this code correctly in order to gain proper access.

5. Course ID

The Course ID is generated when you as the teacher create a course through your teacher login and account.

Course Access

The course can be accessed at any time and from any device with an internet connection by using any browser to navigate to

Once there use the Pearson Account Username and Password used in course registration to access the course eText and material. Once signed in select the appropriate text title to enter the course material.

eText App - Pearson eText

In order to have offline access to the eText student and teachers will need to download the Pearson eText app located in the FileWave App Kiosk. Once the app is downloaded you will need to login to the app at least once while online. To do so you need to be online and follow these steps;

Be connected to the internet and select the Pearson eText app.

Enter the Pearson Account Username and Password created or used during registration and sign into the app.

This will log you in to the app and you will see a bookshelf of all your textbooks. From here you will be able to select a text and download one, some, or all of its chapters. After you have downloaded the selected chapters you will be able to access them offline. If you do have internet access though and you navigate to the app you will be asked to login through the steps described above.
