NAELPA Membership
Membership Types
NAELPA offers both individual and institutional (transferable) memberships to meet different needs:
Individual Membership - $50 annually
The individual who purchases the membership retains ownership—even if they change roles or organizations.
Institutional Membership (Transferable) - $150 annually
Institutional memberships are purchased by an organization or education agency and are tied to a specific position, not a person.
For example, if an agency purchases a membership for a Title III Director, the individual in that role holds the membership.
If there is a change in personnel, the membership transfers to the new person in that position.
Who Can Join NAELPA?
Anyone interested in supporting and working with multilingual learners is welcome to join NAELPA!
Membership runs on a 12-month cycle, from January 1 through December 31 each year.
Annual Conference registration includes NAELPA membership for the remainder of the current membership year (for those who are not already members).
